In October 2024, our blockchain technology friends at Bext360 introduced us to one of their partners in Peru, Cooperativa Agraria Aromas del Valle. This cooperative is made up of 618 coffee-growing families across the regions of Jaén, San Ignacio, and Cutervo. After tasting harvest samples, we started chatting with their directors, Iván and Theilor, over WhatsApp and quickly made a game plan to purchase one of their community lots called Gran Amojú.

We then identified a logistics partners in Trabocca to move the coffee from Peru to Denver, and then boom—here it is in April 2025! A truly direct trade relationship, putting delicious coffee in your cup.

We’re already planning next harvest with Iván and Theilor, and will be using Bext360’s technology to provide full supply chain traceability and transparency. Keep an eye out for those future drops!

This current release, Gran Amojú, is a community lot, which means it's a blend of high-quality coffees from coop members. As a regional composite, it’s the perfect expression of Peruvian coffee: full-bodied with sweet notes of red fruit, pastry, and chocolate. A steady, easy-drinking cup for your everyday brew.

We’re thrilled to share this coffee—not just for its flavor, but for the broader impact behind it. Aromas del Valle supports member farmers with programs that boost coffee quality through social, economic, and environmental initiatives. These include reforestation projects, modern coffee-processing trainings, and using technology like Bext360 to access global markets.

A standout initiative is their support of women producers. Through an internal group called Mestiza, female farmers receive training, workshops, and hands-on help to improve productivity and coffee quality. The Mestiza program is building stronger livelihoods and better living conditions for women in the region, and we're 100% here for it.
