Reminds us of - Sugarcane and papaya
12 oz and 5 lb bulk bags available
Nestled in the mountains of Colombia's Risaralda Department is the small coffee town of La Celia. This past season a handful of producers from La Celia hosted a local competition to see who could produce the tastiest coffee and young gun Leo Herrera placed in the top five with this insanely sessionable cup. Perfectly sweet and balanced with the subtle notes of sugarcane and papaya, this is what Colombian coffee is all about.
A couple of us from the QC crew had the pleasure of visiting La Celia a few years back with our homies from La Real Expedición Botánica and randomly met Leo (before we had any idea he was a baller producer) at a small roasting shop in town. We're stoked to now be roasting up his winning lot and sharing the goods with you all.
