Grown on the 23-hectare Finca La Esperanza high up in the mountains of Huehuetenango, our latest release from Guatemala comes to us from Don Octavio Herrera, affectionately known as "Otto", and his family. Though Otto is now retired after 25 years working in coffee, his son Octavio and other members of the Herrera family continue Otto's work on their farm. The family has been pushing the quality of the coffee processing allowing their plants to bring forth their best qualities, as highlighted in this Las Plantas separated lot of washed caturra and bourbon varietals.
